Not to go too off topic, but what does this offer that something like Legacy Doom doesn't?

To the original poster - welcome. Enjoy the forums.

    First computers in my life

    Hey All,

My first experience with what you might call a computer was something called a BI-TRAN-6. It was a transistorized trainer that had magnetic core memory.
We got into it when I went to radio school in the military.
Then I came home and my dad had built a Sinclair Z80 kit and I learned a little BASIC on it. Then he upgraded it by getting a new ROM for it that made it a ZX81.
I then bought a TRS80 model I level II that was used. I was intreaged about machine language on it as things ran faster than in BASIC. I never had
any more added to it except a few experiments with IO ports.
I later got a good deal on a Kaypro 4 as I was concidered an employee of
theirs because I worked for a company that sold them and I worked on some of them. CP/M was fun for awhile. DOS is a lot like CP/M when you look at the interupt routines. So that is just some of my firsts when it comes to OSs.
PIP PIP HURAH! What? No spell checker here?
