    Yep, Mythbusters did this one. It was called "Biscuit Bazooka", IIRC, and they found that heat from a car can indeed cause biscuit tins to explode.

    iirc, in the mythbusters, they said that it would explode under extreme circumstances, however, during the show, they filed to explode it in a car, but rather in some sort of oven.

    Also, my all time favourite is tied between the chicken-gun/chicken-gun re bust and the chinese astronaut.
