Gas (or Petrol) prices here in the UK just hit 90p a litre in mainstream/supermarket garages, over a 1pound a litre on or near motorways - that equates to about 4 a gallon, roughly $6!
Wow, that is way to much.
    I thought 3.40/gallon was ridiculous.

Before August we were paying less than $2.50/gallon.

hah, here in Nevada where I live it has hit to roughly $3.50, it'll be around $4 here quite soon. For the US - it's bad where I live. For Europe - it is nothing. I think in Italy it's something like $7.

not ENTIRELY sure as to wether my sums are correct here.... but here goes...

it's 92.9 of our shiny english pennies per litre down the local BP garage which i work out to be around $6.44US per gallon.

i say not entirely sure (it's 3am and i need sleep!) will work it out again in the morning after a nice long kip!

OK... I didn't know UK used gallons also. Don't you use the metric system nowadays?
