who is this directed at? I am wondering because I'm thinking of buying Xandros...at least trying out the free distro. Are you praising the distro?

Reason number one: Linux is too complicated
suse, mandriva, mepis, ubuntu .... etc

Reason number two: Linux is a pain to set up
suse, mandriva, mepis, ubuntu .... etc

Reason number three: Linux doesn't have enough applications
debian has 15k pachages + you can use wine or vmware

Reason number 4: Linux isn't secure
    simply..........no.........stop listenning to microsoft

Reason number 5: Linux is more expensive
    it's really getting lame........

<pissed off rant>lol, read people! You read text from left to right, once you finish one sentence you go onto the next and so on until you finish reading the document... it is only a joke! I'm sorry to say that this thread should be locked due to incompetent people

I have pulled all nighters, sdousley, and I have done some crazy stupid stuff in World of Warcraft (started talking randomly in chat and replying to general chat when I wasn't in it, didn't figure it out until nobody responds to me and someone tells me to put in /1 to enter general chat ). I do find it odd that the sterotypical open source users immediately think that everything is a Linux hating link and become immediately offensive about it. AND two users do it! If one person messes up then he knows not to do it again or alternatively the next guy should not make the same mistake..</pissed off rant>

Well now that I am done ranting.. funny link, thanks for posting.

Some people will say that linux isn't user friendly, but I think it depends on the distro, a distro like suse is just like windows, I guess it depends though

oh no...SuSE is WAAAAYYYYY different than windoze. I wouldn't mind if you assaulted Linspire with that comment...cause it was made to be like windoze. SuSE is far superior.

lol, nice post. the follow up is good too
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
