    Its been a year

    Hey friends,
I have been a member of this forum for a year now. This is my number one used forum, and I have made a lot of friends. I wanted to say thanks to everybody that has helped me in the last year and to the people that I have helped, you are welcome, and lets keep this revolution going. I hope this continues for many years to come.

    Thanks again,
    Mike
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

    i second that!
and thanks for helping me with my gentoo installation! much appreciated!
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
