    Linux on the desktop?


    who cares! what about cookies on the desktop do you know how many times i have eaten stuff around my computer and got crumbs in the keyboard! ha ha i was eating fried chicken one time and could get my fingers from slipping over the asdw keys while playing unreal tournament

    good for you guys this wont count torward my post count i have alot of sillyness in me to post :LOL:

    i even once spilled a margarita on my keyboard had to take it completely apart to get it cleaned out.

    I remember someone telling me once that they wanted to buy an antique IBM 42H1292 keyboard like this because the actual electronic components were sealed in the top rather than under the keys, and there was a drain hole on the bottom, which made cleaning them up easier.

    that would be cool if they designed the keyboards for late night gaming (including snacking drinking beer and general game related abuse) especially reinforce those w,a,s,d, keys. i had a microsoft intellimouse come apart due to a well placed impact while gaming.

    Keyboards like this one would even be impervious to liquid spills, and easily wiped clean with a damp cloth... downside is they're expensive and somewhat hypersensitive.

    i have one of those they are awesome. my old boss was given one as a demo and asked me if i wanted to try it and they never asked for it back and i was the only one who knew about it. he has since been removed from his job and still no one knows it existed.

    I spilled a glass of Kool-aid on my keyboard.
    Put the keyboard in the dishwasher, let it dry for a day.
    Keyboard works just fine now.
