You're probably right. Again, I don't recommend using any form of BASIC. The coding gets you in to lots of very poor habits....

    Not for everyone. FOSS is all about giving every user the possiblity to make existing programs even better. This happens all the time. Many programs were first very basically written in an "easy to use" language, and later rebuild or even fully rewritten in a faster language by others. This is still one the the biggest FOSS benefits.
