    How to install linux from an unbootable Dvd/cd?


    Hi everyone!

    I have an unbootable dvd having RedHat 7.2,8,9 and Fedora Core2.
    Can install linux from the DVD?

    Somebody told me to copy the images to the harddrive and then point to the place where they were copie(by using the linux askmethod command at the prompt when cd1 is inserted?

    Moreover what if somebody hasn'tg a cdrom drive at all?

    Please don't refer me anywhere.I have googled enough.If u have any experience of doing it yourself,you are welcome to share.

    Wrong forum :P

    Anyway, it sounds as if your problem is the fact that they are images stored on the disk. So what you need to do i burn the images to a CD or DVD with a program like nero.
