Not sure if DNS will solve the problem.
My LAN is connected through a ADSL modem/router with the internet. As such, the gateway is set to the IP adress of the router.
If I setup DNS (which I did), it works, but I'm not sure it will work when I set the gateway to point to the router and point the DNS to the server itself. When I point both gateway and primairy dns server to the local server, I can't connect to the internet...

sorry, I missed your earlier reply.
It looks like there is a routing problem between tiscali.nl and their upstream provider.. I'll email tiscali.

Oh, i forgot to ask, can you PM me or email me your IP address/hostname that you commented out in the traceroute output. I guess tiscali will need it.
