I'm still here. The majority of the hurricane missed me entirely. We had some strong wind and a little bit of rain, power went out for a short period, but this morning power and water are on and nothing in my area is damaged other than a few stray tree limbs. Thanks for all the support guys and gals.

Yeah, you guys (and Galveston) really lucked out. Glad to hear it, because things could have turned out MUCH worse.

i just found out that my parents who live in Port Neches, TX (right between Port Arthur and Beaumont) still have a house standing, but some of the neighbors weren't so lucky.
