Also what exactly is the difference between open source and free software (free as in speech). I'm not very clear on that!

I think that the Powerpoint is mostly pretty good. It displayed a little weird in OpenOffice, but that's likely because it's a PPT.
The only correct is that "Debian Linux" should become "Debian GNU/Linux", because this is how they refer to their own product. The others should remain Linux, likely.
Also, for the record, I'd advise against splitting hairs. In fact, a discussion on the issues mentioned by a thing might be an interesting activity later on. But for any sort of introductory thing, keep it short and simple.DISTRO=Arch

^The reason I'm against that is because someone could go around to their friends telling them about their new "Linux" OS and their friend would never know GNU/Linux v Linux.
In a nutshell, free software is for everyone's freedom and open source looks at it as just a way of developing superior software. Sort of ironicly, the OSI's open source definition is just a modification of the Debian Free Software Guidelines.

Oh yeah, KPresenter also supports OpenDocument without proprietary Sun Java or still development GNU Java.

Well I think I'm done for the night!! Thanks to everyone for their help, I guess I'll pick it up tomorrow (still not finished).
