Newbie needing help
Hi all and everyone.
New to linux and its benifits but can anyone help me.....
Wanting to run a linux server and wish to use none other than BTbroadband to access the internet.
In Germany they use PPPOE protocals and Over here in England they use PPPOA Protocals.
I know that BT uses the following connection info
User.Surname@btinternet.com
i know they don't use passwords
still can't connect to the internet.
Whats wrong, and how can it be fixed?

BT internet do use passwords.... If you have forgotten yours give BT Broadband A call..
You are 100% spot though, BT are PPPoA (Point to Point Protocol over ATM (or similar:P)).
