I have a service that I'd like to offer in the Classifieds forum. The Classifieds readme says that sales are to be "user to user only." I suppose it could be said that this service is offered by a business, but it I am the only person behind this business. So, could it be said that things are "user to user"?

Hi... I think Jason's intent is to keep the classified section user to user, and not to allow commercial sales there. At any rate, I'm sure he'll respond as soon as he sees this thread, so hang tight.

As you are a new user I would say don't post it, otherwise it looks like all the trademarks of spam (new user, plugging a website etc) and will be deleted.

Sounds fair. I am somewhat of a Linux geek (Debian/Gentoo). I'll hang out here on linuxforums.org helping out for a while; a classifieds post will be more appropriate when I have a respectable enough record.

feel free to put a link in your signature, plenty of people do and it's something i encourage provided it is ok with our guidelines. The hosting link you've just put in your signature looks fine.
