    Waste of time..... How dumb am I??

    I just spent a whole day d/loading and burning FC4 discs, and was all ready for the installation when I found out I'd d/loaded the 64bit ones by mistake.

    Well, the solution is simple really. Buy a 64 bit processor. If you waste time, you may as well waste some money.

    Oh I feel for ya mate.

    When I had slower internet I spent ages d/l all 4 discs of Slackware only to realise I only needed the first 2.

    Hey, at least you downloaded the actual distribution discs. I can't count the number of times I've spent hours downloading and burning the SRPM discs instead.

    The Fry's Electronics near me offers combo deals (motherboard/processor) for AMD64's every week. Most are around the $279-350 mark.

    Over here we have a small problem, that problem is known as VAT. Like alot of you american guys can get a decent AMD 64 for the equivalent of £90. Now if you include VAT with that, it's about £120. Arrrghh.
