Hello and welcome to the linux world fellow countryman.

I don't know much about PHP or SQL, or Apache, but i remember during SuSE install, those packages were available in Yast. You could also find rpm's for those programs from http://rpm.pbone.net
Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.

Try and do it by reading the docs, and make mistakes (you learn most by doing that) then come on here and ask specific questions - the more specific the questions you ask, the better the answers tend to be.

And most of all, have fun learning it all.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Gcc / C compiler

    Hi Friends!

The SUSE Linux home edition does not install gcc/ c compiler by default.
A simple compiler and SUSE has goofed.
And without this most of the tar.gz ( Format ) and other softwares give compilation error.Any suggestions from experienced Suse Users.
