thanks techieMoe!
You saved my time. I just read your Solaris Express 11 (b16) review. It seems nothing has changed since Solaris Express 10, so you are right "this one's good for no one".

A bit? I think they're incredibly biased.
I know - it was an understatement .

A bit? I think they're incredibly biased. That's what makes it fun. I'm not trying to give Mad Penguin a run for their money and be fair and/or balanced. I do agree though that folks could mistake my reviews for the last word on a distro, when it's anything but. I cannot however keep people from making rash judgments. I've disclaimed the main page and warned folks again and again that it's just MY OPINION. It's not my fault if they take it too seriously.
Like many others I like your reviews and find them entertaining. Perhaps calling them 'TechieMoe's Rants' would clear up any issue of biasness or balanced reviewing

You know, that might not be a bad idea.

::EDIT:: Done. The most visible links now refer to them as "rants". Perhaps that will clarify matters a bit. I'm currently downloading Zenwalk and Yoper, so expect rants on those some time in the near future.

I'm curious .

But somewhere deep down I think you'll like Zenwalk... At least I hope. If you like Slackware, you should be set .

Haha. Now now, despite my rants I do try to go into every distro with an open mind. Sometimes I've been surprised.

I'm working on getting a copy of 10.0 RC1 (since it's the closest I can get right now to the final release).

There are 1 CD ISO files for OpenSUSE w/Gnome or w/KDE (whichever you prefer) along with single-CD install ISOs of Enhanced OpenSUSE (prelinking enabled by default, etc. - xfs has the fastest boot time) here, just in case you want to conserve some bandwidth (you ARE on dialup at home, after all ):
