I've got my web page teacher hooked on suse, w00t

I gave my web page teacher at my hs a copy of SuSE 9.3-Live DVD and he really liked it, the coolest thing is that apparently he was the one who pulled the strings to get the new Dells donated for our room so the school district doesn't care what he does so he says if I wow him enough then all of the computers in the room will go SuSE, but there's one catch.. the systems _must_ be able to run Adobe Photoshop, and the Gimp will not suffice . It is pretty cool that I could be making some pretty big changes, as the computers run Windows XP SP1.. Has anyone else converted their teachers to Linux?

Congrats. The Computer Science department of my former university was already staffed with mostly Linux folk, so I didn't do much recruiting.

I had to Google this one. I found a wikipedia article on Ruth Kelly with a statement I didn't quite understand. Perhaps our brethren across the sea can explain this line to me:

"As a committed mother of four she refuses to work the long hours normally associated with her position or take a red box in the evening."

Yes, the "red box" refers to the box which she would use to carry home her (vast amount) of paperwork in the evening. I really admire her ability to balance motherhood with being an MP ... Can't be easy, but it's better than being a workaholic. Check this out for example.

Edit: Not to be confused with a red bus. That's different!
