Does anybody know when FreeBSD 6.0 goes stable? I want to switch from 4.11 soon. (You know you need to upgrade when they start calling your version "legacy".)
And please ...

And please don't move this to the BSD section. Not enough people go there.

erm.. this actually does belong in the *BSD section
Posting in another forum section to get attention is not the way to do it, imo.. I did that once in LinuxQuestions because I grew impatient and I got chewed out royaly.
Anyhoo... It will become stable when it's good and ready, sorry but I cannot provide much more information than that, if you manage to find a schedule release then that will tell you but I would just wait it out and be patient for now. What you can do is set your CVSup file and point it to 6, and when you're done it will give you the latest 6 that is available, I should sync my sources again to get RC1 as I'm on beta 2, so when 6 is released officially then you can sync your sources with the same file.Registered Linux user #393103
