Looks like it will be good... too bad it probably wont be in wide use until 2020 and there will be XHTML10 by then, just like XHTML1 came out ...

I'm curious to know how xhtml10 could be in use before xhtml2
I'm also curious to know why I should use xhtml instead of html, there really isn't much difference that I can see other than needing to close every tag.

Pretty much to get rid of tag soup. Also it should be easier for people who make things like code folding since there's no tag that just opens and never closes.

Meh I still don't see much point in writing xhtml over (valid) html. I despise xml and all it's bloat, no need to jumble it up with html which is fine as it is if it's valid and proper. I never use "code folding" either. Guess I still won't "migrate" to xhtml
