I cannot think of anything cool and creative. Maybe I'll do want Ralph Macchio did in the first Karate Kid and wear the shower curtain thing. What about everybody else?...

Dressing up for Halloween, if so what will you be?

TUX.
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?

Since we don't celebrate haloween here, I guess I will still dress as myself.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
- 10-20-2005 #7To be honest, dressing as myself is what I usually do too. True story: the one time my friends and me did dress up, we all went to the pub looking like werewolves etc. I had a pair of horns and spent the evening smoking cigars and drinking whisky.

But this year, I'm tempted to dress up a bit.

- 10-20-2005 #8Well the adults here don't dress up, but it's fun for the kids. I remember watching ET as a kid and seeing them all dress up on Halloween, including the adults and thinking "Wow! The parents dress up as well!". I suppose we 'British' don't do it for fear of embarrassing ourselves

- 10-20-2005 #10I wouldn't use the word 'daft' to describe that ... I would use the words ... "Where are you going, and can I come too?"
