BURN THE COFFEE LOUNGE!!!
I'm really starting to think we should just get rid of the coffee lounge here. I mean there are so many questions in the actual forums left unanswered here it's sad. I think a lot of people just spend most of their time on this forum instead of helping people.
Just a thought.

You're right Chopin on time spent on the coffee lounge - on my favorite dutch forum we have a 'select' subforum called 'De Huiskamer' (a bit like 'fireplace'). We call the guys who spend most of their time there instead of on the tech subforums 'Huiskamersletjes' (translated in English it would be something like 'fireplace whores').
That's what it makes me think of, but I don' t think it's as bad here as on the dutch forum
.

Is this because you can't bash Microsoft anymore?
I don't think we should drop the coffee lounge. It is a nice outlet and as much as I loathe to say this ... "helps build relationships between forum members". I avoided coffee lounge posts here for a long time, but truth is we have a great community here and that is in a large part to the timeouts in the lounge. This is not a 6'x8' cubicle where we work. We post here to help others and be helped and speaking your mind or throwing in a little off topic conversation can only help this. Unless of course it's off with all the negative crap and 1337 bull.
