Linux application for flash on AMD64

To my surprise it seems that macromedia hasn't developed a flashplayer that supports 64 bit architecture. I took a look at the forums at macromedia.com and it seems that I'm not the only one who is annoyed by this. Flash isn't going to die in the nearest future, I suppose. So... I suggest that someone develops an application that plays flash so that we don't have to depend on macromedia flashplayer (piece of ****) in the future.

Does the normal flash player work on 64bit?

I don't seem to have a problem loading flash enabled site with Suse 9.3 on a 64bit Intel?

The 32 bit should work on an AMD. For an alternative flash player, GPLFlash is under heavy development.
