DSL is a great distro, I've liked it every time I've used it.

I need to grab a hold of the latest version! I just got 2 older computers from a friend and need to get them going. One is already set with Slackware, but the other one will need something like DSL because I don't want to install more memory in it. I already booted it up with DSL .7-something, which is a really old version, but I just wanted to make sure it was going to work well. Now it's off to downloading the latest version and installing it.

The only issue I have with it is I can't get it to mount my flashdrive. Other then that, I love that little guy.

    DSL

I am using it now as well. Just booted off the CD and viola, I am up and posting just like that. I need to investigate the USB install and maybe do that.

I downloaded and booted the latest DSL just a week ago. Impressive as always. Damn Small is a quick moving distro with grand improvements with every release. It is indeed a joy to run.

I really like DSL, is a fantastic distro for older, or newer pcs, the only thing is, i wouldn't waste a 64-bit machine on it, hence Crux, as my other distro.

onlinebacon, we'll have to talk about Crux at some point. It's the only distro I've been too intimadated to try. I love the concept though...
