A while back there was a post asking about Irish heritage. So how many Linux users here are Scottish or of Scottish ancestry?...

Me and my wife both have Scottish ancestry, but I could not tell you a percentage though. We did have a bagpiper at our wedding. Not that has any bearing, really. But it was very cool.

3/4 Scottish here, although I have a Norman surname...affiliated with clans MacPherson and Lamont, respectively with the surnames of Gillespie and MacIlquiham...

Most in tuned with the MacPherson side, hardcore highland clan: "Touche not the cat bot a glove!"

I remember that phrase from the thread a while back about alcoholic beverages.

If you want to try our clan brand check out Cluny, made in the highlands, beware though it comes in gallon sized plastic jugs, rotgut...

So that's how that came about. I obviously must have mentioned that Cluny was a really good scotch to be so cheap! Here, I can buy a 1.75 litre bottle for 14 bucks. Cheap, but very good! I prefer it over others that cost over $30.00 for the same size.

Wow, I've never seen it in that size, my liquor store--the one I go to--has only gallon sized, yes, I do prefer it over most scotches...
