Chicken. A bird evolves into a chicken and it lays an egg. (I am not biologist so I could be way off).

It depends on the MEANING of the word "egg". Is an egg which isn't laid by a chicken still a "real" egg?
The answer is that by any scientifically useful definition of "egg", a reptile egg is still an egg. However, to show this involves some pretty deep and profound Evolutionary Biology.Isaac Kuo, ICQ 29055726 or Yahoo mechdan

I need more specifics. obviously in the case of the egg i had for breakfast the chicken was first, but the egg itself hasn't it been around since before birds (i.e. part of the beginning of all life). besides crocodile eggs are way older than chickens
