    new forum and linux user


    i joined the forum about a month but still was stuck with xp but now im using FC3 and im loving it, but i just wanted to say hi to everyone on the forum

    hey, i hope you enjoy linux, also, id try something other than fc, it sucks (imo)... try debian, or ubuntu, or w.e you would like, but fc=bad in my opinion

    well later on after i get used to FC3 i might go with slackware or SuSE
    but still keep fc3 and just have a dual boot

    That's the best way to learn linux. Find a distro you're comfortable with, and play around with others as part of a dual (or triple or more!) boot system. After a while you'll find that the new "play" OS is your favourite and you can get rid of the original!

    Don't let people boss you into changing operating systems -- otherwise we'd all be using MS -- use the one you feel most comfortable with!!
