ok first i thought this might be helpful to someone but didn't know where to put it, though i havn't had a chance to digest all the contents of this site yet.but may help with wireless problems.

Looks like a good site but is missing the number 1 mfg of wifi chipsets world wide. Who I like to call the devil himself -Broadcom They are like the linmodems of the wireless world except even more fun while killing time.
Except for the one excepton, it is a good site just on linux config's and cmds.Dan
