    I know what you mean! I have a headless Slackware server that I'll occasionally need X for while ssh-ing to it. It has no DE's just TWM. At least it gives X for a few apps I like to eyeball.

    I detest it, yet, in a way, I'm kind of attracted to it in a geeky/minimalist sort of way... It's hard to explain...

    Thank you dylunio I like that set of icons, although GNOME_n00b sent me a really cool looking floppy icon yesterday which I am now using. I still downloaded that set you have found though as I may try them out sometime.

    I think my favorite window manager right now is OpenBox. I first read about it in Linux Format magazine, they called it "a lightweight alternative to GNOME's default window manager [Metacity]." And it looks pretty kick-ass too:
