man.. last night me and my 2 friends almost got into a fight with these 3 other guys. we were at the mall so we werent going to fight there. so we told them to get into their cars and follow us. .. ive never heard anyone shut up and leave so fast. anyways. i hear some people say theyve never gotten into a fight in their life. what do you guys think? i know were mostly guys here so ima ask you guys. is it normal for guys to get into fights or not? have you ever been in one? hehe just wondering. -ZAc-
I can imagine a perfect world, a world without hate, a world without war. Then I can imagine us attacking that world because they\'d never expect it.
- 11-12-2005 #2not if you don't have to, no. the only time a person should get into a fight is if that person has no option other than to protect themselves or those of friends/family.is it normal for guys to get into fights or not?

Guys tend to want to fight more by nature. To me, it's the whole "macho complex". I am definetly not a fighter (fought once in sixth grade and it was self-defence) but some guys tend to want to fight more than others. How often do you here "Wanna fight?"? It's ridiculous.

I haven't hit anyone in about three years...and that was because some punk was threatening my girlfriend at the time. I'm not naturally aggressive. However, when I was taking Biology (same year I hit the guy), my teacher informed me of something quite interesting. An overly aggressive behavior in males could very well be linked to having an extra chromosome: an extra Y chromosome, at that! She also mentioned that some scientists believed Hitler had an extra Y chromosome. So maybe aggressive behavior truly is genetic...for some. Who knows? I haven't heard much about it since then.

i don't think aggression has any relation to extra Y chromosomes whatsoeverl. all men have a Y chromosome whereas women don't. its much more to do with the level of testosterone. there are very placid men and very aggressive women. in fact, many people say that the level of aggression in women is exactly equal to that of men - its just expressed in a different way.

I don't think I've ever got into a physical fight...a few verbal ones I have been in, but when people say "You starting?" I usually have an uncontrolably fit of laughter....and then they worry that I know something they don't and walk away
