    Grub Error 22.. I can't boot my PC!

    Hello,

    I reformatted the drive Ubuntu was on, thinking it wouldn't be any big deal. So, when I boot up my PC I find Grub Loading Stage1.5

    GRUB loading, please wait...
    Error 22

    Then I get nothing, nothing at all. All I want to do is boot to my C: drive, which has windows XP on it.

    Any suggestions on how to get my PC to boot?

    put your windows cd in & boot from it, choose recovery console & at the prompt type fixmbr & press enter,take out cd & reboot
