add war3 to the list that game runs on linux so nicly i dont see how i couldnt play it

Maybe someone here can answer this question I've had for a while. If there is a Linux server version of a game, say... Team Fortress or Counter Strike, Is there any way to join that server as a straight Linux player? Or do you still have to run the client end with wine?

Wolfenstein ET is free, that's why I got it.
That is awesome...downloading now.

I say, why don't we use Wolfenstien ET? It is free which makes it easy for all because you don't have to pay for it and sys req's are pretty fair. If so, I'm in.

To decide on a game I guess there needs to be a poll that includes the most mentioned games. Maybe we need more discussion about all the possibilities before rushing into it though. No need to be hasty.

Maybe this thread should be in the Linux gaming section here. Just a thought...
