I can't seem to get it to install correctly. It works when I click the shell script inside the folder I unpacked from the .tar.gz. Is that it? Does that mean it's installed?

Just extract the tarball and run the firefox script.

That's what I did, I wanted to put an icon or something in the dock at the bottom of the screen like my other firefox was though, is there anyway I can do that. Thanks by the way..

Right click on Kicker (panel)>Add to Panel>Application>select .desktop from KMenu (add one with kmenuedit)
