    External Hardrives

Hey, everyone, i don't really know anything about external hardrives, but i wanted to get one for my dad this christmas so that he can back up some of his data which is currently on a laptop. I was hoping to get him a reliable model that is not too expensive, and is not bigger than ~150GB. He doesn't use linux, just windows XP so I don't ahve to worry about compatibility with linux. Just wondering if you guys know of any good models. Thanks.

I use the Western Digital USB 120 gig hard drive. I've had it almost a year and it's never given me the first problem in XP or Linux.

Same exact story but replace 120GB with 80GB. Great externals.
