I have the odd half from time to time, mostly ale or lager, my favourite ale being Orkadian Ale (Northen Light is my personnal favourite). I don't tend to drink spirits, though if I do I'll go for Malt Scotch, prefrebly from the isle of Islay (something like Bruchladich).
Though I don't know how worse for wear I'll be after tomorrow...which is the 6th form's christmas party, where we are all aparently 18 years of age

I remember my parents getting a letter from the school telling them that I had been caught drinking underage at a school party, and all my dad had to say was "What a waste of paper!". I guess that explains the love of booze now

Contrary to my sig, I actually drink in moderation, and usually at the end of the month.

Here is a funny and true story about drinking.
My mother had just finished making a large pie when we (the family) all left to go to a wedding. We got back around 10pm except my brother. He stayed back with some of his friends. The next morning my brother (obviously distressed) was complaining that we ate the pie and left none for him. The thing was everyone went to bed when they got home. No one touched the pie.
The verdict – He came home very late and very drunk, ate the pie and went to bed, forgetting everything.

I think using Linux and drinking liquor kind of goes hand in hand! You just haven't lived life to its fullest until you've recompiled your kernel while swigging Sour Mash whisky and listening to Buck Owens on the stereo...

I voted no, although very, very rarely I will. I think I am the only college student that doesn't drink!

Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?

I guess it's all a matter of culture. The way I drink is considered quite normal in Belfast or in Norway, but in CA it is frowned on.
i also have the blood that gives me alcoholic tendancies hell my grandparents used wiskey to resolve my teathing issues...and my other grand prents considerd jegermeister valid cough medicine. other than that i have to diaplin my self to not drink so much.

Yes, in moderation. I never drink over the point where I lose control of what is going on. I know my limits and I respect them.
