Doesn't Like Linux?
Being a linux newbie of just a few weeks I was trawling the net ooking for any useful sites and came across this:

I can't believe how negative this guy is being, it's like he was determined to find fault before he even started.
I can't actually remember what prompted me to give linux a try but I think I approached it with an open mind and I have to say I'm having a lot of fun with it, not to mention I feel I now have a greater understanding of the inner workings of my PC.
Sure, there are some things that linux could do better but the same criticism can be levelled at Windows and feel that it does have a lot to offer. I've also started to fly the linux flag at work and have just lent a couple if live CDs to a colleague to try.
What does anyone else think?

I'm not sure I'd pay too much attention to this guy, cos his complaints are, for the most part, about silly cosmetic issues that he could change, for example,
AndThe icons for all available toolbar buttons in Firefox face directly towards you, except for the Home button, making it look out of place.Everything else he complains about are similar nonsense-issues in my opinion.“Man Pages”. Did anyone by chance notice this part?
It seems that our good useless user was being just as critical as your average user and trying to show what the real persons criticizms are going to be. He looked at the system as your mother would. The small things are what cause great worry to the real end user. If it doesn't look good, it isn't good.My boss, by the way, is Mark Shuttleworth. I’m working for his company, Canonical, as an interface designer.
Something tells me that this is part of his job. He comes in from the outside and gives a real opinion about what the end-users want... interesting that you could get to be involved because of your lack of technical knowledge.
Everything he listed off is something that any one of us could change just by editing a few configs. The point is, the real end-user is not going to edit configs. They are going to want it to work and work right now.
I actually enjoyed reading it... despite how much his comments made me cringe
