haven't really made up my mind. I already hired a firm to create us a huge CMS to fit our needs, they are also making a design for it, if I like the design, we take it, if not, we keep the design at LF.com.

Ok, dont take this to offence, but i feel that the lf.com is currently slightly overpowering, and not simple enough,
If we do HAVE to have vBulletin, i would request a simple theme, something a lot easier on the eyes

    Lo
    Mmm CMS
As far as vb is concern u could tune as u want the skin of the forums even from the admin console (if u keep the css into the html uh )
U could rewrite either from scratch a new css separately from the forum themes to fit ur need.

Ok, let me put it this way, I really don't feel like upgrading the forums every 2 weeks because the guys at phpbb found "another" security whole and decided to fix it with a new version. I owned a forum once, it was phpbb, and it got defaced even though that my version was up to date.

Second, vBulletin is much better than phpBB in many ways, first, the administration pannel has a lot more features allowing the administration to manage the wesbte better.

Users have their own cpanel, a lot of modules can be added to the software, etc. And most importantly, it's much more secure that phpbb.

Bottom line, vBulletin is better, this is why we're going towards it. We believe it's a much better software than this one, and since we are able to afford then why not get it?

    That's it for now,
    Thanks,
    Core Wizard.

well excuse me this forum has run phpBB for an awful long time, and has become very successful, does that not maybe tell you something?

as for security, i have never seen this forum with any grafitii or anything as screwed up as it is right now, i mean come on, you have taken it over, and i have seen the most complaints since i have joined
