Idea For a sticky
Many new linux users including myself, quickly become interested in protecting their computer against potential viruses. Since i have seen many different 'Do i need an antivirus??' posts, and i wrote one myself a while back, i feel that it would be a nice topic to have in sticky. It would be nice if the sticky could address the two sides of the issue (Don't need an anti virus, its linux, and Still want one to be extra sure). What do you all think?

I agree, but I don't think most people on here see viruses as a threat. I read a magazine article recently which I think overturned that. In theory a virus could be written, but it wouldn't propagate very well ... No Outlook Express on Linux.
