Hi, my name is Andrea Beesley and I am working on a Ph.D. at the University of Oklahoma. I'm conducting a study of factors that influence developing technology expertise among IT professionals, and I invite you to participate. The findings from this project will provide information on what drives people who work in IT to continue to master new information. I expect that the results of this project will expand the theory of expertise development, as well as add to the body of knowledge about IT professionals. By completing the survey you may also gain perspective on the factors that influence your own expertise development.
