I've never been a big fan of anime, not since I was a little kid and I was into Pokemon (huge waste of money).

There's way much more to anime than Pokemon (which imo is nothing worth watching), there's series like FMA (Full Metal Alchemist, very different than the manga but I've only seen the anime and like it), Hellsing (well, the coolest thing about it is it's OP, but that makes the anime worth watching, this series is also said to differ quite abit from the manga). Then there's anime like Sailor Moon (they've never aired all of it here in Sweden, and on top of that they ripped some music, and one or two episodes has been "missed" afaik), I think it was the first anime I ever saw, years ago.

anime is great! i mostly see it on cartoon networks late night block "adult swim" wich on saturdays and thursdays features many good shows. gost in the shell, full metal, evangelion, scry-ed, flcl. but i have watched a couple series off of that program block; excel saga, slayers.

A most enjoyable anime, one of the best in the harem genre.

Other than Love Hina, I tend to like 'Slice of Life' anime such as Honey and Clover, or Genshiken. Since anime is rarly on UK tv, save an hour of Full Metal Alchemist and Wolfs Rain, I must get most of my anime through DVD's or fansubs.

I checked out the site and it looks like a site I could get into!

I have enjoyed Anime, since I was a kid. Macross is by far still the best Anime out there! (In the US it was Robotech). Ninja Scroll is really good, but it is definately for an older audience, as well as Mermaid Scar. But I like just about any Anime out there. My recommendations would be:

    - All of the Macross series, including Macross, Macross 2, Macross Plus! (Robotech is technically the US version of Macross and is very good!)
    - Akira
    - Ninja Scroll (very violent though, so adults only!)
    - Ghost in the Shell!
    - Mermaid Scar (again this is violent so adults only!)
    - Bubblegum Crisis
    - Vampire Hunter D (the original one)

There is one that is very good that I can not remeber the name of, but it involves a Panther that and a futuristic space background, I swear the name of it starts with an S, but I always forget it. . . . .hmm, I will post it if I find it.

wow this list could go on for a while if I do not stop now!

I utterly despise 95% of all anime I've ever seen. It's childish, the girls all look like they're 14 with rather excessive anatomical proportions, the storylines are cheesy and predictable, and for some reason, the voice acting just always seems to suck. No offense to anyone that likes it, I just see it that way.

However, there are exceptions. I love Cowboy Bebop. It has some of the above qualities, but for some reason I just love it. My then-girlfriend (a huge anime fan) rented the movie for us to watch, and much to my surprise, I loved it. I think she was geniunely surprised when I asked if I could borrow the series on DVD she had.

Also, Ghost In The Shell wasn't bad. Akira had it's moments as well. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust was pretty good too.

I'm not much of a 'what's playing in canada under anime' fan.
I download a lot of animes that are subbed such as:
    Tsubasa Chronicle
    Twin Spica
    Love Hina (Complete)

Anyway, I wonder if that site has torrents
