older'n dirt

And you guys thought I was kidding when I commented that I was older than dirt....I'm one of the 2 guys over 55!

And, NOW I know why all you guys are so much smarter than me......

Me, I'm doing good to play Tux Racer with two keys....a joystick is gettin' there and a game pad....for get it...!

BUT......what REALLY struck me was a bird flying by...no, Woodsmoke...don't do that ...get back on track...

What REALLY struck me was the comments by the people under twenty that are down in the fifteens and so on......

I want to COMMEND you....for being "here" and not "somewhere else", that "grandma wouldn't want you to go"....

I've taught all my life, in everything from Chicago to little town schools, and spent most of my career there....and I have seen one simple thing....folks make choices in their lives....good ones and bad ones.....if a person always tries to make "good" ones......you can't go wrong....now, the world might give you a slap up sida head....but that happens....you use it to still make good decisions....

Woodsmoke ....SHUT UP! You're runnin' on at the mout..keyboard........that's 'cause I'm older'n dirt!

ain't xandros great!

I am 47.

Born in 1958, which was also the Year of the Dog.

I just moved into the 31-40 bracket in December.
But hey, if 37's not old, then I'm still young!
