I play around with all of them from time to time, but my default is currently FVWM. It's downright ugly to look at in the form in which it's distributed and a pain in the arse to setup if you do it from scratch, but once it's all done, you can't beat it. You learn alot about WMs, too!

As much as I've learned to warm up to my second favorite, fluxbox, I just can't seem to escape the grip of that beautiful resource eater-upper: KDE.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the heavyweight desktop environments, but I've gotta admit that the new KDE 3.5 is really fast, and it's fun to play with.
