I'm glad you liked everyone's suggestions. I'm just a little curious to see what book(s) you decided to get in the end?

I wish I could put my activities on hold but I can't. It may take a month or so for me to be able to get back to you on just what books I end up with.

Hi Gtmtnbiker98,
Your post here made me go pick up the copy of Linux for Dummies that I bought two months ago which had a Suse Linux 9.3 disk in it. Back then the book was very confusing to me but your post made me pick it up again and I can now actually understand some of its logic. I guess Linux will grow on me as I have been told it would.
One thing that is very clear to me right now is that I do not know a thing about this machine in front of me.
