    I'd get socket 939 if I were you...AMD is moving away from s754. Though it is a lot better than a socket A system. AMD is making s939 semprons if you're interested in a value system, while still having PCI-Express and newer chipsets, etc.

    I would not get a celeron either...for the money...they're quite bad. I have owned a few over the span of my PC years...and I would much rather get something, ANYTHING else. I find that in a mobile setting, celerons are decent (i'm talking mobile northwood...what I have...or new celeron-m's). The AMD sempron is a MUCH better buy.

    Oh, and, http://www.newegg.com comes highly recommended in the states. They get better ratings than TigerDirect, too.
