I'm sticking with Mandriva for the time being. I don't say it's 'the best' or anything like that; I've just got used to it. I've tried:
SuSE
Slackware
Debian
DSL
Feather Linux ...
They all have strengths and weaknesses. I really enjoyed using Slackware, but it was taking a lot of my time to configure, so I took the lazy way out. I love the choice that's available out there.I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso

I must agree with chopin1810 on this thread. You cannot have a "which distro do you like?" thread and purposefully ignore the things you don't like. Every distro has something that someone loves and someone else hates. It's a misrepresentation of the truth to say "This distro is wonderful" and not present any of its bad points, however this inevitably turns into a flamewar.
The thread hasn't yet become a religious debate but it's only a matter of time. We all have our favorites. Let's go back to using them and leave everyone else in peace.Registered Linux user #270181
