As for the original question, I am single and sorta trying. It's a long story.

I used to love having clients with acne when I was a beauty therapist. The squeezing was therapeutic! You meet loads of pretty girls at beauty salons you know - just a tip for all you single guys

You both reminded me of a friend of mine - we had this conversation once about acne putting women off. Apparently a mate of his had *really* bad acne, but it seemed to have the opposite effect. He pulled loads of women.

Things are definitely not what they seem to be.

Single at the moment. Almost 18, in my last year of high school, and all that jazz.

I've only ever dated two girls: the first turned out to be absolutely psycho, and fairly dumb, and the second was one of the most depressed people I've met.

But in less than a year: college-age geek girls, beware!

Cabhan, I have had practically the same experiences with girls. Except both of them were psycho's and one was on heroin, which is pretty bad stuff to get mixed up in..

    Unhappy

Hey, I asked out my first gf today! I'm 13 so that's not too bad. She said that she was *busy* but I found out from one of her friends that she, in fact likes someone else, but she is considering it. Now do I call her? Email her? This is too confusing for me.

There is no problem so complicated that you cannot find a very simple answer to it if you look at it in the right way

I'll be honest: I don't really consider 13 an "I'm Going Out With Someone" age.

That said, did you ask her in person? If not, then I'd say consider asking her again at some point. But if she likes someone else more than you, then you're out, buddy. Sorry.
