I have to check out how to properly install applets, because right now, bonobo can't seem to find them.
What is this little piece of code?
Sound interesting though
Btw what is bonobo exactly?

That little piece of code is just a header file in a larger project that I'm working on (a direct connect client, more exactly).

Bonobo is the GNOME framework that allows for object embedding.

Btw., scientica, looking at your vd1, you had several emacs windows open. I just wanted to make sure that you know that you don't have to start several emacs instances to accomplish that. Just type C-x 5 b to open up a new window (you'll have to select a buffer to put in it). Maybe you already knew that, but it didn't seem to be so from the title bars. In any case, it takes less memory than starting several emacs instances.

Mine

Is KDE the only... thing that can do real transparency? Any transparency I enable is always just the "use the background image as this background" type of deal.
