Out of all the Desktop environments, which one do you think generally looks better when customized and when not customized?

When I converted over from M$, I felt more at home with KDE, but now I'm really starting to appreciate Gnome for it's simplicity and looks.

It may just be me, but Gnome is easier on my eyes, softer and not so shiny or cheap. Can't explain it.

my 2 cents

I haven't tried any others, I do hear that many of them are very fast compared to Gnome/KDE.

Rob,

Does the chobits theme include the icons? It seems like some of them are from Fedora Linux.
