icons

nope, i dont think chobits comes with any icons, i got the icons from a iconset from kde.look.
i think its called krystalcurve (can ya see i get EVERYTHING from kde-look?)

Hmm... how did you keep the "K menu" icon intact? Did you just save it and the copy it over manually?

Also, where do you put these files (after extracting them)?

i just extracted em to my $home and then copied them into /usr/share/icons/icontheme/48x48/kmenu.png

Which release of Debian are you running? I don't have the /usr/share/icons/icontheme/ directory anywhere.

im using debian sarge..
do you have any icon themes installed?
replace the /icontheme/ dir name with your icon theme name..
then just replace the icons that u want to change

I see, that's what I figured I should do. I was able to convert redhat-artwork.rpm to .deb (using alien) and I installed it but the icons do not work under KDE (the window decor works fine on the other hand). Nontheless, should give that a try.

If I'm not mistakening, you installed KDE 3.2 .. via KDE's repository? I'm fairly sure my machine (also running Sid) doesn't have KDE 3.2 available.

yea kde is available for sid, actually i had to use sid packages to get it on my distro at all (running sarge)

Just checked the Debian site. It looks like unstable is using KDE 3.2.
