Here's me. I've been using Gnome for the past while with all of the XGL goodness. Smooth as hell I tell you, and seems faster than normal X.

Xfce, running on Gentoo, with the Conky sistem monitor (easy to use, and one of the few sistem monitors which is not annoying,

).

And yes, I prefer light desktops

Hehe, yeah, as I said, I like very light desktops. Actually, on some monitors (my old laptop for one), this wallpaper was way too bright (my LCD makes it a bit easier on the eyes). I'm thinking about redoing everything in black just for the fun of it.
