I'm also on my HS school Ultimate Frisbee team.DISTRO=Arch

I skateboard, and play hacky-sack and basketball. I only watch basketball though and the occassional football game when the dad puts it on.

Hackey sack is where you kick around a ball with your feet but it can't touch the ground, you see how many times you can hit it without dropping it.
It's basically juggling with your feet.
I think it's mostly popular in the 'states...

Luckily my wife detests football and basketball as much as I do, even though I played football in high school. Baseball though, now that's a different story. I love baseball! If you ever have a chance, see "Field of Dreams" to get an idea of the almost spiritual connection we feel with that particular sport.
I also love Drag Racing. Watching a Detroit door slammer that burns gasoline sail through a quarter mile at over 200 miles an hour is a very exiting thing to see...

at fingal: I also love to fish. Down South we get plenty of good fishing shows. Hank Parker, Bill Dance, Rollin Martin and Orlando Wilson just to name a few!

I like to watch women's tennis on TV, female beach volleyball, etc. I also like to watch boxing, basketball... I don't enjoy American football nor baseball...-D-

Great! I think of fishing as spiritual. Once I went and fished for seven hours without a break, and it felt like 2-3 hours. When I woke up the next morning I could still see the float in front of my eyes.

- 01-18-2006 #30I agree! When you're out there fishing and communing with nature, it brings immense pleasure and peace of mind. Fishing is the only activity I've found that takes your thoughts completely off your troubles. You become so single minded about catching your quarry that everything else seems to melt into insignificance, at least temporarily which is a good thing.
